Professor Diwan S. Rawat

Professor Diwan S. Rawat was born on Januaray 1, 1970 in Raikholi, a village in district Almora (now Bageshwar) in Uttrakhand, India. His major research contributions are in the areas of medicinal chemistry and Catalysis. Prof. Rawat's research group has been involved in the development of several new molecules which has excellent potential for anti-cancer, anti-malarial and anti-microbial applications. They have been also working in the area of nanocatalysis for the synthesis of biologically significant organic  molecules using green and sustainable strategies.

Prof. Rawat has been elected as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC),  and Chartered Chemist (CChem), London.

Prof. Rawat has been appointed  as an Associate Editor of RSC Advances journal by the Royal Society of Chemistry

Congratulations to Prof. Rawat, received "Prof RC Shah Memorial Award" of Indian Science Congree, during 103rd Indian Science Congress held at Mysore, Jan 3-7, 2016.
